In just a few precious days it will be March , lighter nights and mornings and we start to head towards Summer time, Winter always feels so long doesn’t it, especially without the flowers, but soon the Walled Garden will wake up again and give us abundance and reward for all the Winter preparations that have been going on behind the scenes. February has been filled with seed sowing , planning and study, learning the craft of the flower farmer from the generous Erin Benzakein the founder of Floret, I am now a proud alumni of the Floret workshop and will be bringing all that I have learnt to make The Walled Garden even more magical than before. It has been weeks of study and so rewarding, I will forever be grateful for the opportunity.

Right now the greenhouse is bursting with future blooms and the raised beds have looked after the biennials all through this bitter cold winter. The flowers will come soon enough, for now it is time to nurture these seedlings and dream of what Summer will bring….
