It’s all about the roses

Long summer days are here and we are now in June , that means one thing to us, the roses. I knew when we came to the farm that we wanted to create a beautiful rose garden filled with the most glorious roses to share with florists and flower lovers to make beautifully scented bouquets. There really is nothing like a garden rose grown with love to bring the scent of Summer and lift the spirits. So earlier this year we got to work and planted over 75 roses of the most gorgeous shades.

Audrey Hepburn once said ‘to plant a garden is to believe in tomorrow’ so true especially in these troubling times. Our tomorrow is starting to bring us some absolutely stunning roses and the cutting garden is starting to fill up with colour. I know that we won’t stop at 75 roses, they are addictive you know! This is just the beginning of creating this space and we can’t wait to see where it leads us, we are only 6 months into our flower farming journey after all and learning every day
